Alfa Bank explained what will change for clients after EU sanctions come into force.

The bank clarified that its lawyers analyzed all the information, received responses from numerous specialists, and delved deeply into the matter. Ultimately, they report that the cards will continue to work in Belarus and abroad. As is currently the case, isolated issues are possible in some European countries due to the personal decisions of foreign counterparties regarding Belarusian cards.
Apple Pay will no longer work. But the bank has already developed a solution: payment stickers will be released in December. They are also working on making common items payment instruments—keychains, rings, bracelets, and other options.
Apple subscriptions will also become unavailable. This applies to payments made through Apple ID. The bank assured that they are making every effort to resolve this issue, but in the meantime, they recommend using a card from another bank to pay for subscriptions.
Subscriptions paid directly through service websites will continue to be paid for as before. Ultimately, it is recommended to link subscriptions directly to service websites where possible, for example, in the Yandex ecosystem.
Samsung Pay and Swoo Pay services will continue to operate.
The INSNC app will also remain in stores and will continue to operate.
As a reminder, the 19th EU sanctions package includes Alfa Bank, Sberbank, and VTB Bank. Sanctions against them take effect on December 2. EU sanctions against Belgazprombank and BelVEB have also been in effect since February.
